South of Fifth (the building) has some very nice large units - some of the largest available in South of Fifth (the neighborhood). The building is essentially made up of several smaller buildings artfully connected to make it appear as one. The front part (facing Ocean Drive) was the old Pelican Hotel, and now hosts some small-ish lofts. The back (facing the beach and the Ocean) is where the really beautiful views are. The middle "tower" (if we can call it that, since the building is only 7 floors) is the more desirable one, as it offers most privacy.

Initially sold at prices comparable (or sometimes surpassing) Apogee (in the $1500/ sq ft range). Current pricing is significantly more attractive for the buyer.
