About South Beach

Known for its high voltage appeal, scantily clad crowds, haute parties, late nights, lovely days, South Beach has long been seen as the wild city full of flash, action, fast cars, decadence, a sexy Latino edge, and more star sightings than there are in Hollywood.

About Miami

Miami's downtown has emerged from a glam makeover, thanks to a multi-billion clean-up, designer condos sprouting up everywhere, luxury loft living, a new generation of upscale hotels, the International Miami Film Festival, a financial district that rivals Wall Street, and one of the largest ports in the world.

Art

For the art enthusiasts, there are over 100 art galleries now open in Wynwood, the arts district, and the new Miami Art Museum, a masterpiece of Swiss architects Herzog and de Meuron, is slated for completion in 2012. And then, of course, Miami is home to Art Basel Miami Beach, which transformed Miami into an art world Mecca.
